The oral cancer screening can be completed with laser light that allows us to view issues that can't always be detected by the human eye under normal conditions.
Some of the warning signs of oral cancer are:
- A red, white or discolored patch or lump in or around your mouth
- A sore that bleeds easily or that doesn't heal within two weeks
- An area that has thickened, raised, or become hardened
- A rough patch of tissue
- A chronic sore throat or hoarseness
